It's not often you can purchase furniture of this nature and have it come pre-assembled and in such nice condition. The quality of the product is as can be expected, not top of the line but definitely not garbage. Had many teachers, when dropping off their little ones at our daycare, comment on how nice it is and wanted to know where we purchased it! That should speak volumes!

Unit is probably not the quality I would want in a daycare, but for home use with two children it will be great and was cheaper than some of the more sturdy units. I saved $100-200 on this unit over some of the other more solid units. The outer wood on this is sturdy, but the cubbies are seperated by thin plywood that is not supporting the unit at all. Only the outside wood supports it. It would be more sturdy if a center shelf was added in the sturdy wood. But for home use, it is fine. In the heavy traffic of a daycare center, I would go for the more expensive units.
