Wynwood Montelena Panel Bed

Ok, so here is the scoop. bought a king size bed. the head board and foot board are quite nice my problems came when i was trying to install it. We received the railings, the head board and foot board have 2 slots where you can put the rails, if you put them on the far outer ledge they expand to about 79 inches if you put them on the inside ones they expand to 75 inches. my king size mattress is 75 inches but my box springs are 76 inches.. so this didn't work. also the slats that came with the bed were cut too short so when you had to put them across even on the smallest one they were about a half inch short. not very sturdy and since i had to use the one side on the outside and one on the inside to make my box spring fit i had to go to the hardware store and buy wood to make the slats work! i also had one of the side railings come split. so i had to improvise and use wood glue and a few screws to put it together so i could atleast assemble it so i could sleep on it. sure this bed looks good. but i wish the railings weren't such a nightmare. one last comment. the length of the side railings are so long. that i have a good 2 inches at the head of the bed and another 3 inches at the foot of the bed. this is a bit excessive to me to have that much room. it doesn't make the bed look too neat. I was really hoping for something better since i had read so many good reviews. If you buy a king in this bed . Beware!

Even better than I thought. Beautiful and sturdy, can complement any bedroom. It was easy to assemble. I also like that it arrived faster than I thought.

Beautiful piece of furniture! Picture does not do justice to the wood grain and color....so interesting and rich. Bedstead is sturdy and well made. Love it!
