I needed a 12pt 14mm crows foot for very tough to reach power steering lines on my Galant's steering rack. Obviously, buying a set made the most economic sense. Craftsman's set through [...] was $80. It was nice to have that as space around the fittings was tight and at an angle other than straight on (where a typical crow's foot would reach). As I loosened and then tightened the fitting, the angle in the joint needed to change a great deal. Not needing a separate universal in that area was great as there wouldn't be room for it. But the swivel means that you need to get something else on the foot to control it onto the fitting, which can be tricky in a tight space. I didn't try it but a solution is to wrap the joint with electrical tape to make it not flop around so much."..." Read more
