But they are a bit cheap. The idea looks to be that you can adjust the height of these. Ours simply dont stay where we put them. For the price I expected them to work better (thus only four stars). However, since they are high up and no one touches them except for the two of us that change the lightbulbs, they appear to be very high end. We do love the look...so very classic. Thanks Wayfair for always treating us well!

I like the large base which mounts easily. I did have a problem with the adjustable length stem. 1 of the fixtures did not have parts that tightened on the stem to maintain its length and the other didn't really hold it tight enough to keep it from sliding out.

These were exactly what I was looking for in pendant lighting. The quality is fantastic. I was looking at other websites for school house lighting and they were much more so I was a bit nervous if these would look as good I was hoping; they are perfect! So happy and loving them.

I used this light fixture in a stairwell and it looks great. I love the clean lines. It give off some old world charm, with out being stuffy or too traditional. The globe that came with it had to be reordered because the shape was not symmetrical but wayfair was wonderful at making that process quick and painless.
