I'm using this CM-8 stand for my reciever, CD player & turntable which is mounted on the CM-5-0 cabinet. I would recommend the CM-8 over the CM-3 due to the additional opening for airflow so the reciever doesn't heat up. No assembly required.

This unit came assembled. It is sturdy and nice oak. The flaw is that the top shelf is two sliding slats that adjust to the feet of the component rather than a solid shelf. Im guessing the idea is that it improves air circulation for cooling. We are using the unit to hold a CD player (bottom), an amplifier receiver (middle) and a turntable on the top. I need to add a solid board to the top so I can store other items on the turn table level. I would recommend this unit only if the person buying it knew about the top shelf. For some, this might not be an issue. The shelves are spaced well for the components.

It arrived a few days later than expected.

This is good, well made product. But, the adjustable shelves are either very loose, or a very thight fit. One is too thick to fit into the groove properly. I'll make do, but I would have expected better attention to detail, considering the high standards set from the other products from this manufacturer.
