More information should be given on setting up the cam lock assembly. Takes numerous trys to get the screws set at the correct depth. Other than that we are very pleased the way the unit is built and how it looks.

Assembly of the cabinet was straight forword. As others have mentioned, it is heavy (100 lbs). It definitely helps to have two people do the assembly. The casters were embedded in some foam packing material and not marked. I almost threw them out. The glass doors were a little tricky. They are almost square, but only fit correctly one way. The instructions here could be improved. I was a little skeptical of the claim that the unit is solid oak. But after carefully examining the pieces, I concluded that the description was accurate. Once assembled, it appears to be a solid and attractive piece of furniture. I'm very pleased with it.

Product arrived when scheduled. It had one minor dent on the corner of the lower platform. I didn't consider it serious enough to request a replacement (or want to wait for it).

We wanted a solid tv stand with doors at a good price; this stand met our expectations. We love the design and quality construction. It was relatively easy to put together but definitely requires two people and it took longer (almost two hours) than other comments we've seen. We appreciated the clear directions and the fact that not only were all the assembly hardware neatly packaged, but in most cases there were extra pieces.

We are very pleased with the Wood Technology CMV-440 Solid Hardwood Oak TV Stand/Video Cabinet with optional door kit. It arrived in a timely and undamaged manner. I had shopped around a lot. The product was better than I expected at that price. It has a high quality look and functionality. I have assembled many pieces of furniture and it was the best quality I have encountered. I never buy very expensive stuff, but look for value. This is just what I like. The parts were made with exceptional tolerances, strength and uniformity. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The assembled cabinet is flex-free. There was one small area of flaw in the staining and finish, but it's not noticeable after assembly. I did have a minor problem with the cam lugs at first, regarding depth of the lug and centering in the cam lock. But after I got one just right, I measured it's height and set all the others to that height. Assembling it on a padded work table saved a lot of bending also.

Where particle board stands sell for several hundred dollars and solid wood can fetch a couple of thousand, this stand is the perfect combination of value and real-wood beauty. My husband and I looked... and looked... and looked some more for a stand to go with our Sony 46" flat panel. The two concerns we had when ordering this one were (1) it would look cheap and (2) it would get damaged in shipping. When the stand arrived, the first thing we noticed was the *excellent* packing in which it shipped. Each piece of wood and glass (for the door kit) was impeccably protected. Assembly was a breeze, taking about 45 minutes, and the optional glass door kit is the perfect finishing touch. Most importantly, It does NOT look cheap -- the online pictures do not do it justice. I can't say enough nice things about Wood Technology!

This is a solid piece of furniture that blends well with our other pieces of oak furniture and is handsome to look at as well. It provides a very stable location for our new flat screen TV and is very easy to move around.

This cabinet is precisely what I wanted - a quality solid oak cabinet with good glass closures. The process of ordering, checking fot track numbers etc. was very customer friendly. Only problem was we older guys need help getting up off the floor multiple times during assembly, but directions were precise and adequate. So if you are over 60 --get help.
