Cooking inspiration from Fort Worth, TX on 07/24/2014 – Verified Buyer
I've been wanting a pressure cooker ever since I spent that day with my neighbor watching her use hers to make tamales and home made vegetable soup. It's so fast and the food tastes great. Being a novice, I didn't know what to look for or what I wanted so when I saw this as a deal I snatched it up. All my pots and pans are Wolfgang Puck and I've loved using them so I knew I was getting quality. It's bigger than I had visualized. My first thoughts were where am I going to store this so keep that in mind. It's the size of a huge crockpot. Outside of that, once I picked up the manual and recipe booklet, my cooking imagination confirmed I'd made a good purchase. There are so many recipes in the booklet to get you started and none of them difficult. After looking at the extra parts in the cooker itself, I felt like I'd gotten a top of the line cooker, it was just up to me to fulfill its potential. From the recipe booklet, I now look at it not only as a faster way of cooking stovetop items but as a fast way to cook oven recipes as well. You can make roasts, pork ribs, and even stock in summer, super fast, without heating up the house. In Texas, that's a winner as no one uses the oven in the summer when its 100+ degrees, that's why we grill all the time. That opens up cooler seasons to just about anything. This looks like its going to be a great kitchen tool for year round cooking. I'm happy.

Definitely a time saver and worth the investment! from Mason, OH on 06/15/2014 – Verified Buyer
I really enjoy being able to make flavorful recipes with frozen or thawed meats so quickly! Layering flavors is easier than I expected! I also appreciate the ability to brown/braise meats prior to the cooking process. The size is great and the design of the lid and venting is simple and works well. My wish for improvements: 1) wish the browning/braising temp was higher; 2) have to cover the vent with a towel when releasing due to splatter of steam; 3) wish there was a setting to shut off instead of going to warm automatically; 4) worries the removal of the seal for cleaning after each use will eventually weaken the restraining bar that holds it in place.

Does a good job for larger sized meals. Used this cooker a fe times and found it performed as advertised. The ribs came out perfectly and were cooked through and falling off the bone. Very stisfied and would recommend this cooker. I

The care directions are easy to follow. I have cooked several recipes from the book enclosed, and they came out great.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy their first pressure cooker.

works like a charm! from Vancouver, WA on 01/20/2015 – Verified Buyer
I have only used the manual (stove top) pressure cookers. And they work quickly, This doesn't seem like it builds enough pressure so things take a little longer to cook. But its a breeze to clean, and very easy to use. You don't have to stand there and regulate the pressure like the stove top model. The first thing I made when I got this was baby back ribs. OMG! They were great. I could fit 2 racks of ribs in the pot, plenty of room. There is a recipe in the booklet. Perfect in summertime when you don't want all the heat from the oven. I would recommend this to anybody. And the 8 quart size is a plus when you have a crowd.

This pressure cooker is Awesome! from Silver Spring, MD on 03/10/2015 – Verified Buyer
I have already made a roast, and round steak. Both of the two came out with wonderful flavor and tenderness. This product is easy and convenient to use. It has a very nice design. The only thing I can really say in the negative is that it is huge compared to all of my other counter-top appliances. This is still a good thing I only say that because I have an apartment and very little counter space. I cleared off all others though because this product is well worth it and actually has multiple uses. Like the rice cooking feature. I also love the recipes located at the back of the manual. They are simple and delicious!!!!!! Best kitchen investment yet.

Love it! from Cape Girardeau, MO on 11/25/2014 – Verified Buyer
Love this appliance! I have been making chicken and beef broth. Very easy to make, and so much better than store-bought.

Pros: Saves lots of time.
Cons: Takes a little practice to get the hang using it.

Pressure cooking made easy. from Ewing, NJ on 12/09/2014 – Verified Buyer
This is easy to use and was a great buy. I was disappointed that it was a factory refurbished item, as that was not indicated in the description. But it works well.

Love it! from Roy, UT on 03/17/2015 – Verified Buyer
I read on all the hype of having a pressure cooker and thought I need to buy one and see if they are over exaggerating. I am happy to report they are not. I can cook a beef roast in 30 minutes that tastes like it has been slow cooking all day. No moisture is lost and the flavor of the seasoning is throughout the meat. This is my favorite way to cook now.
