I have had electric woks in the past, and was unsuccessful in keeping one running as long as I desired. So, I solved that problem, I got this one to use on my kitchen stove. It is heavily constructed, this is NOT a cheap made wok. I have used it several times in the past few weeks with excellent results. It is fairly easy to cleanup, I have used the same method of cleanup I do with an electric skillet (if there is food stuck).
