I'm an avid home cook and blogger and have been looking for a wok for my stir fry dishes. I chose this one because I wanted to put my own seasoning on the pan. I also liked the tempura cooling rack it comes with, and the stir fry shovel. I really like the large cooking surface this wok provides, stir fries are so much fun with it! The protective coating that the factory applies is really difficult to remove as its clear - and the instructions for removal aren't that great. All in all I'd buy this wok again, it heats quickly and transfers heat evenly, has a large cooking area and the accessories it comes with are very helpful in a stir fry. Cons would be the labor intensive removal of protective coating and the lack of good instructions on how to do so."..."  Read more

I bought this wok for use on my pontoon boat and it did not disappoint me.It was the perfect size and was excellent with my small gas stove. The wok heats up fast and cools at a good rate and is easy to clean.Though pre-cured additional curing should be done, after that, cooking more meals makes the wok even better.Tighten the handle hand tight and then use a screwdriver through the eye of the ring and tighten another turn or two. Put Loctite on the threads first. I will use this wok at home with my others when boating season ends in Dec."..."  Read more

The overall quality of this wok is excellent. Constructed of spun carbon steel as you would expect in a higher end wok. It came with one set of seasoning instructions glued to the wok itself and yet another almost conflicting set of instructions in a pamphlet. Confusing to say the least. After I had it nicely seasoned, I found that the metal spatulas that came with it were too harsh and removed some of the seasoning. I won't use them again and will stick with either bamboo or high heat resistant plastic for the stirring. Overall, I'm very very happy with this wok."..."  Read more

I have had electric woks in the past, and was unsuccessful in keeping one running as long as I desired. So, I solved that problem, I got this one to use on my kitchen stove. It is heavily constructed, this is NOT a cheap made wok. I have used it several times in the past few weeks with excellent results. It is fairly easy to cleanup, I have used the same method of cleanup I do with an electric skillet (if there is food stuck). I put about a half inch of soapy water in the wok and simmer it for a few minutes, it cleans right up. I highly recommend this wok."..."  Read more
