Scott61 from Hudson River Valley, NY	2.0 11/15/2008 Dishonest description, badly machined These night stands were described as "solid beach wood construction", which looks to me like a lie deliberately concealed behind weasel words. The top and frames are real wood, but the sides, door, and most importantly the shelves are plastic laminate over thin press board - these will sag in no time with any weight on them and will fall because they are poorly supported. I bought two: the machining of the parts on one was poor (had to work a bit to make fit) and the top wood surface has a long crack (through both surfaces) and a visible wood filler patch. At this price I can accept having a poor quality item, but I really object to being mislead by this retailer... I'd think twice before shopping with them again. Was this helpful? Yes / No
