good value for the $
Jack from Santa Maria, CA – Verified Buyer
I bought 5 of these based on other favorable reviews. Took 2.5 hours to put them all together...longer for the first one. Outstanding value for the $ and relatively easy to put together (I'm pretty handy at assembling). All the parts fit and the stools did not wobble. However, have another allen wrench available as I stripped two while assembling (better than stripping the screws). Also, you'll need something (I used needlenose pliers) to clean some wood chips from the holes in the legs.
24" counter stools
LMO from Sacramento, CA – Verified Buyer
I ordered 2 counter 24" stools to go with my butcher block portable island. They are very sturdy & heavy & very well made. They came wrapped in thick plastic sheeting to avoid any scratches. The parts were all bagged & easy to access. I must admit I had my son-in-law assemble them for me but he said the directions were easy to follow. The color is a deep brown-wonderful finish. The price does not reflect the quality. They look a lot more expensive.
Look good, some assembly issues
Wes from Raleigh, NC – Verified Buyer
Purchased 2. First stool had 1 misaligned drill hole where one leg meets the saddle. It was too low, so I had to drill out a little more so the screw would fit. This stool has some minor wobble which is noticeable only when not sitting on the stool. Second stool worked just fine. The instructions are not confusing, but make sure you read and understand them fully. Don't fully tighten ANYTHING until all pieces are in place. This is important to make sure it fits as intended by the manufacturer. Overall, they're good stools. The company just needs a little better quality control. Probably could've sent one back but this small issue isn't worth it.
Perfect for it's Purpose
Zeynep from Harrisburg, PA – Verified Buyer
For some time I was looking for exactly this- bar stools that are a good height and color, that serves its purpose and is in harmony with my space. These are great for my long kitchen counter that fits 4 of them, which also made me consider the price. I can also say that this is a great price for the stools since many manufacturers charge you slightly more than Wayfair. Being a 22 year old girl, I can say that assembling is a piece of cake and is very straightforward. The only thing I did not like was the tool they had in the package, since the lack of a handle hurts your hands when trying to bolt them in tight. Overall, I would suggest this product to anyone looking for these qualifications.

I have a smaller kitchen and our typical round swivel bar stool was making the kitchen look a little "cluttered". These bar stools are a great solution. The wood appears to be sturdy, the color is beautiful, they were a great price and they were delivered super fast. They tuck nicely under my island overhang to make the kitchen appear neater. One drawback, which I expected, is the lack of comfort. It is a smaller seat and wood, so keep that it mind. My kids haven't complained and my husband and I are getting use to it. The trade off is well worth it. One important note. Wood plugs are supplied to fill in the holes where you have to use screws. Wood glue those in. Many of the plugs have fallen out and our dog seems to find them before I do. So I do have a few "holes" in the bar stool legs where the plugs were. I'm hoping I can buy some from the company. All in all, beautiful looking stool, clean lines and a great value for the money.
Sturdy and Attractive

These stools are very practical, sturdy and attractive. I bought them for a kitchen bar and have been very pleased with them. They are the right height and color and fit perfectly. They slide easily under the counter for easy storage. One advantage is the narrowness because I can fit more under the bar. They are comfortable for perching and watching the cook, or visiting. The only downside was the tediousness of putting them together. If you have a power tool, easy peasy. Hand screwing all the pieces together is time consuming. I would definitely recommend these stools!
Sturdy with a quality appearance

These bar stools arrived ahead of schedule and match my counter height table very well. The instructions left a little to be desired, as is common with many "some assembly required" items I have put together in the past. Once I used logic instead of the instructions, the stools went together fairly fast. To keep the wood plugs from coming out of the holes where the screws are located, it helps to lightly tap them in with a hammer. Stools are sturdy and comfortable.
Sturdy and Simple

I bought these as a gift for my mother as she just renovated her kitchen. She went through the entire Wayfair barstool selection and found these. The price is great and better than the local furniture stores. We opened the package and each piece is solid wood, no laminate construction here. The fasteners use a pre-drilled dowel system with wood screw and plug cover. Assembly was simple, just test assemble first then fasten with the screws; it took about 10 minutes. The finish was nice and should hold up well. Another great buy.

Stools showed up quickly. Ordered 2 for my island and they work out quite nicely. They weren't terribly hard to assemble, however the tool that comes with the hardware does not work and strips out easily. The screws that attach the legs to the seat are a challenge to tighten w/o stripping. Have a pair of vice grips handy.
Kelsey 24" counter stool
Debra from Gaithersburg, MD – Verified Buyer
The stools arrived in a timely fashion and in good condition. My son-in-law assemblied them and said they were easy to assemble. He said it took about 15-20 minutes to put each of them together. He said that for each stool there was one screw that was stripped or nearly stripped and was hard to put in. They are a nice dark brown(walnut) color and look great at our new breakfast bar. I am pleased with my choice.
