great stool, but pain to assemble
Emily from Pittsburgh, PA – Verified Buyer
Basic, solid wood bar stool. Good craftsmanship, and nice color - it's a little darker and more yellow-toned than I imagined based on the picture. HOWEVER... I'm confused by reviewers' comments that these stools are "easy to assemble". They are not. Perhaps assembly has changed. Each stool has 12 screws that you have to hand screw in with an ALLEN KEY, which easily strips the screws. Wishing we could use a screwdriver for this... agh. Might be worth it to buy regular screws and chuck the allen key screws.

I am really happy with these. I wasn't sure when I ordered them whether they would be poly'd or unfinished based on the description (I probably wasn't reading carefully) but wanted to mention that they are finished with poly, no stain. They're solid and look like they're going to hold up really well. Other reviewers mentioned that the wood is yellow; I didn't find this. My floors are white oak and the pine does not appear especially yellow in comparison.

I have looked at several other stools and I was leary about purchasing these stools as they were quite affordable. But I am very pleased with the quality and the ease of putting them together. Well worth the money.
Great deal for the price

I gave this four stars instead of five because, though they are adorable and sturdy, larger adults may feel like they are sliding around quite a bit. It fits our needs though and we're happy with our purchase. Thank you!
Fit my counter with no problem and look great !

Put the three stools in no time. took a few minutes to read the instructions and get the right legs matched together. Had one rail that had the hole drilled off center but re-drilled it and filled the other hole with wood so that it wouldn't collapse into the new hole.
Needs to be constantly tightened, but great otherwise

I really like these stools, they are exactly what I was looking for in a bar stool. My only complaint is that I feel like I am tightening them up every week from everyday usage. That gets really annoying. Other than that they are a solid product, just wish they came with better hardware.
solid stool, great price

Very well made, heavy, price was a steal! Fits under counter, out of the way. No assembly required. That's 20 words.
Isabel from Easton, PA – Verified Buyer
Fits neatly under counter that has just a little overhang. Surprisingly comfortable. Very easy to assemble.
24" Bar Stool
Cynthia from Ruskin, FL – Verified Buyer
We added these too! The counter stools finished the look.. They all turned out beautifully with the bar stools we also purchased. Paint stained them to the "custom" look we wanted!

This stool is a nice light oak color and more comfortable than most wooden stools. Compact footprint.
