For Sparkling Wine and Mimosas. This is about the only flute I could find with a hollow stem going all the way to the base. Pleasant tone when toasting, but you will need a bit of practice to get the sound right. Curious plop sound when the first bit of drink is poured in for you fluid dynamics folk. Ravenscroft box it arrived in is labeled "Made in Poland". One of the four glasses has an air bubble less than 1mm diameter about 8mm from the lip of the glass, but I won't be returning it for that...that bubble is the only reason I'm subtracting a single star from my rating. (I'd give them a 4.8 if I could but I won't round up to a perfect rating.) I didn't notice the defect until I thoroughly washed the glass. FedEx picked up the shipment in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania - it arrived in Hartford County by ground in less than 24 hours from the time I ordered it. As these are tall, delicate and expensive, I will be extra diligent in hand-washing. Please note I am NOT a glassware expert."..." Read more
