No assembly required, reasonably comfy, look great. They did smell a bit at first, but aired out quickly.

They were prettier than pictured. After the first person sat on each one the leather stretched but they still looked good but a couple of people that sat in them dairy that the front bar was a little uncomfortable under their legs.

We were looking for a counter stool with a back for our kitchen peninsula, something different and not too bulky but well made. These chairs fit the bill perfectly and are handsomely rustic. I was impressed with reading the company's attention to craftsmanship with operations in England and the US, but felt a bit deceived when I found a "made in India" sticker on the underneath side of the chair. Overall, however, we're very pleased with the appearance, sturdiness and comfort of the chairs..

We had to wait a few weeks for the chairs to be restocked, but i had signed up to be notified when they were available, which worked beautifully. As soon as I received the email, I submitted my order, and the chairs arrived within a few days...sooner than anticipated.

I purchased these stools for around my kitchen island in my new open floor plan. I must have searched more than 100 websites and looked at a 1000 stools before I found these. At first I was concerned, the price was so much better than other websites that carried this same product. I also wondered if the back was finished as nicely as the front since none of the sites showed a view of the back. I had no reason to worry!! The quality is identical, the back is just as beautiful as the front!! This is one of the most exciting finds of my entire kitchen remodel!![...] the items were packed very well to avoid any damage to the product. Just plain AWESOME!!

We remodeled our kitchen and needed special chairs for the island. We saw some we liked in Architectural Digest. Their cost: 2200 dollars each. The Scheppe chairs we bought from Accent were quite similar but only cost [$] we love them.
