Beautiful beautiful chest. It is a little narrow & shallow, but holds most of my stuff. I switch out put winter clothes in it for summer & visa versa. Love it may need another.

Cedar Chest was easy to assemble and looked very nice. The lock would not work. Still trying to find a replacement that will work

I am using this product to store off-season clothes. It is very attractive inside and out. Assembly was easy although some text with the instructions would have been nice, especially where the hinges are concerned. Being able to go to a web site and get a blown up view of the instructions would have been nice. The cam covers are dark brown and do not match the interior so that is one negative. The lock doesn't work so there's another negative. There is a 1/4 inch gap between the top and the body of the chest which to me is a big negative. I bought this because of the price, however with this chest you get what you pay for.

I like this chest, I couldn't get the lock to work, but it wasn't necessary for what I am using it for.

I wanted it to lock I cannot get the lock to work with the key the instructions were just pictures would have liked it written outkey part didn't have screw holes like the rest of it did don't trust locking it because useing the key doesn't work so I don't know what is wrong more detail instructions needed disappointed with that

I love how the hinges prevent the lid from accidentally slamming shut. They hold the lid at whatever angle you put it in until you close it. The hinges and latch were a little tricky to install, but I can see why the hardware needed to be installed after assembling the chest to avoid problems with alignment. The width and depth made it a perfect fit for a tight spot. The oak finish and decorative feature match my casual honey-oak dining table and chairs perfectly. The price was the best I could find.
