“I am interested in purchasing a couch that is either dark brown leather or material that has the look/feel of leather (similar material). I have a wonderfully large living room in my apartment however the entranceway dimensions are rather small (approximately 31 inches - width by 81 inches-height). I am going to have to resort to a couch that can be assembled unless I want to end up with a futon that looks hideous. I noticed this couch requires assembly and wasn't sure what type of assembly this meant. My main question is could it fit thru my entranceway and if not do you have any similar couches that would ? "Hi Kami, The assembly required for this sofa is very simple. The sofa is delivered with the legs inside of it. To fully assemble the couch, one simply needs to attach the legs. I used to move furniture during the summer when I was in college. I can tell you that nearly any sofa can be brought through a small doorway, provided there are no perpendicular walls near the doorway or any overhangs coming down from the ceiling."
