Like the low profile bed very much! However, was missing 4 holes for installing the railing.

I love this bed so much that I bought it twice. I bought it for my guest room first, and then this past christmas we bought our selves a sleep number mattress, and we wanted a nice new bed for our room. We moved the guest bed in to our room, and I was just gonna buy another bed for the guest room, but I could not find one that I loved as much for the price we paid. It is very easy to put together and it looks beautiful.

but the support slats are of inferior quality and broke and was sinking within a few days. I had to purchase plywood and 4 thick slats for support,of which I had to pay someone to do this. The bed was reasonably priced but after purchasing the additional woods and paying someone to make the bed secure, the additional costs didn't make the bed that reasonable anymore.

My son was getting older and we replaced his old car bed with something nicer. This really classed up his room. We got the matching dresser and nightstand. works well together. I recommend.

pre-assembly made things easy

We really love our new bed.It was very easy to put together,very sturdy ,the only thing we had to do was to add more slats under the bed.The slats that come with the bed will not hold up!So we had to rework the slats to make them sturdy.Other than that the bed is realy a nice bed.Very comfy-I like the dark brown color of it(the picture shows it like a medium brown,but its a darker brown than pic-which I like).I think it goes good with any darker furniture or atleast it did mine:) If you are thinking of buying this bed,you will be happy with it...TLuvzC

The bed looks great, but there is not enough slats for support. Within a week, one of the of three supports cracked and broke. My husband made an additional 5 supports so the mattress wouldn't sag. Since that, the bed has the support it needs for the mattress. It's a great bed, if you don't mind make the additional supports.

We were very excited about the bed and when we put it together - dissapointed. The bed looks nice but has only three little supports and there is no way you can put mattress on that.[...] We went to [...], got some wood and my husband was able to make a few more supports and then he put 2 pieces of playwood on top to make a platform. Then we put our mattress. Now it has all the support it needs and is very stable. The only thing is that even though our mattress is 9'' you can still see on the headboard a black fabric which supposed to be covered. So if you have a ticker mattress or you put a box spring under it will look more perfect.

I love my new bed.It was so easy to put together,only took hubby about 40 mins if that.Very sturdy and heavy.Its a fancy looking bed and we really like it.The bed is really dark chocolate looking(which i luv).Hope this helps anyone thinking of buying one.

Bought it as primary bed, like the look and feel of the bicast leather, overall happy with the purchase. For those who plan on using it as platform bed I would recommend getting additional beams (we got some pine ones and attached little support columns in the middle), as it only comes with 3 originally, which is fine for use with spring box, but not mattress alone.
