It's an almost perfect complement to the room's "winery theme", and adds what I'd describe as "rustic Mediterranean charm". Assembly was relatively easy; instructions and parts were clearly presented and labeled. The rack is very sturdy, as are the wire shelves and the wooden tabletop. I doubt I'll ever use it for 'baking' - serving/storing wine (it can rack 5 bottles) and cheeses/appetizers is what I have in mind - but I think it offers enough versatility to function however you like.
