Wildon Home Fox 48" TV Stand with Electric Fireplace in Weathered Oak - DTO9140F

The color of stand was darker than the picture on the web page. We wanted a darker color- thus very happy with it. The stand was very easy to put together- all parts labeled and very good instructions. I was surprised to see that stand was manufactured in Vietnam.

My pro are I love the Fireplace and it fits very well with the everything in the living room. It was delivered to the house in a timely fashion. My Cons are I was not notified when it was going to be there, I came home and the heavy boxes was laying across the walkway at my front door. I wasn't happy with that, if they had notified me, I could have had someone there to move it from my door.

Ordered this on February 14th 2012~ Very nice! We are very happy with it.Easy to put together only takes about 2 hours. Wood is darker than picture shows although we liked it darker. I bought this piece for my bedroom TV console. The color is not as light as the picture shows, basically not as weathered as it looks and more of a medium oak. It is a good color though, not too dark. It took me 2 hours to put it together, which is not terrible but not quick. The instructions are not hard to follow. Basically you put the console together and push the fireplace in the opening. The fireplace sits tight, so no concern about falling forward and out. The fireplace has adjustable log and flame settings, which have a good range of variation. The remote is easy to use and controls both the light and heat.

This TV Stand/Fireplace was incredibly easy to put together. It took about an hour but the instructions were straight forward enough and all you needed was a screwdriver. It looks great, provides a lot of space for whatever you need to put on it, and the fireplace adds comfort to your home. The fireplace comes with a remote control that allows you to set the intensity of the flame and logs. It also allows you to turn the heater on/off without shutting everything down. The heating itself isn't very bad although I wouldn't recommend using it as your primary source of heat. You can feel the heat build up towards the front of the fireplace but it takes a long time for it to fill the room up to point where you notice a reasonable difference. I bought for the sole purpose of having a point of comfort in the living room. If you're looking for something like that, this is definitely the product for you.
