Looks great, nice features

Unit is 17 deep but top shelves are only 12 deep, but that's actually a good thing! It's extremely hard to tell, but if you zoom in, you'll see that the top back of the unit has a flip open trench that help route all your cables in between the cabinets. It even comes with a power strip plus network cable extension to help manage your cables. It's a nice surprise for someone like me who has 7 pieces of electronic equipment to arrange.
Overall look is great, it's shiny black so prepare to clean fingerprints.
As far as space goes, the top side shelves are pull-out drawers. The left side include dividers for setting up charging for up to 3 devices. I have no plans for that so I didn't install the dividers. The drawers are rather small and won't fit something like a DVD player or XBox. Those who are handy can consider getting rid of the drawer components and just save the front door and make it a flip open shelf instead.
The bottom shelves can hold full sized equipment. Like most TV shelves, there are cardboard backings for these cabinets, but consider what electronics you're putting inside before installing those cardboard. Leave them out if you're running anything that can get hot, or if you're fitting full sized components like a receiver. You don't want your equipment to cook themselves with a lack of ventilation, and you want to be able to access the back on any equipment with lots of hook up in the rear.
The overall structure makes the stand very sturdy. Instructions are clear and while the quality is like any composite wood furniture, the thoughtfulness in the design and features won me over.
