Wildon Home ® Newport Storage Panel Bed

This bed had to be assembled but its looks awesome. I was able to do the assembly all by myself which was really convienent. Rate it an over all 5 stars since I can't do anymore!!

Purchased King size. Lots of storage in the 8 platform drawers (21 12 x 17 x 5 12 each). Purchased 2 sheets of 34 inch plywood and cut to size to place on top of the slats to make the ultimate base. Floor to base 24 inches. Bellagio mattress 16 inches. Bedding 2 inches. Finish height from floor to top of bedding 42 inches. Placed 12 x 12 x 12 inch stools at head of bed on each side for mounting.

Well packaged. Fairly easy to assemble. Good construction. This is a massive bed when assembled. Great product with a great price.

I was looking to furnish a guest room with a queen size bed ,but didn't want cluttering. When I saw the storage bed with 10 drawers and and the book shelf headboard, I said"This is exactly what I need!" I don't need dressers or night tables and I still had enough space to put a nice comfortable chair ! The instructions were easy to follow, the only thing that I wish I knew before the purchased; was the height of the platform. I had purchased the mattress before the delivery,and when the mattress was added you need a stepstool to get on the bed! Other wise I'm a satisfied and loyal customer! PS. WHERE CAN I GET A MATCHING STOOL!!!!!!!!!

We truly love the look & quality of the Hilary Bookcase Storage Bed. As many others have mentioned, the bed does sit rather high - but we compensated by purchasing a 10" memory foam mattress. My only real concern was the delivery process. While the gentlemen were quick, courteous, & professional - they lacked judgement as to the placement of the bed. We told them where we wanted it, & then left the room to allow them to work. Upon returning to check things out - they had not centered the bed along the wall, but had it up next to the door frame of the room. When asked to move it over approximately 36", they at first told me it couldn't be moved. They finally consented, but moving it was difficult & caused a very minor misalignment of one section of the bed. In the future, I would monitor the assembly of any furniture delivered much more closely.

We purchased this bed specifically to go with our new California king Sleep Number mattress, and were assured by Wayfair that it was a standard California king platform bed size. It wasn't. The platform is a few inches too long for the mattress. There is an unsightly gap at the foot of the bed. The unbelievable hassle of returning the bed made us decide to keep it, but if it had been purchased locally, it certainly would have been returned. Also, the drawers do not slide very well.

I ordered this bed online, and was amazed at what I got! The picture does not do justice. It is a nice heavy, sturdy bed! The platform height is 24", and with a mattress, it sits about 36-40" high. A little bit of a climb to get into bed, but it is nice!

We have a small bedroom and this bed has given us a ton of extra storage. It also is very attractive. I was very pleased with the quality of the pieces we purchased. The bed and dressers are very solid. My husband and I put it together in a little over an hour. It is a little high but we can manage to get into it without a step stool! Overall we are very happy with this furniture!

LOVE the bed, works great, drawers are decent and good sized. It's quite tall... my wife who's 5'2" uses a step stool! It's very comfortable for me but I'm 6'3". Our biggest gripe is that every single piece of trim has the letter 'C' 1" tall) written on it in grease pencil UNDER the finish! From 10' away the bed looks great but if you get any closer it
