Not the most comfortable for extended sitting. Purchased for my den, where we spend most of our time and house oversight guests. It is comfortable to sleep on for a night or two, but would not recommend as a permanent sleeping arrangement. My guests have liked the removable pillow/arm rests to use as additional lumbar support. Shipped quickly and easy to put together.

This is a good quality sleeper sofa. It matches the picture and description well. The size is perfect and the color is just what I wanted. I'm very happy with it!

Got on sale for $350. Good for college use. Lasted 4years then the padding fell apart. Had to buy new one.
With a few adaptations.

This sofa sleeper looks great, is easy to use and maintain. I bought it for a spare at our lakehouse and our grown son slept comfortably, with the above mentioned additions, on it all last week. Some reviews I read before purchasing complained about the discomfort caused by exposed velcro with the arm pillows removed. Do these people not use bedding that covers these strips? I think it's a smart design to have something to keep the pillows in place when the sofa is used for seating.

Just FYI, the couch is darker than it appears in the picture. But we still love it. The directions were vague and did not explain how to unfold the couch into a bed. After calling the manufacturer and waiting 7 hours for them to call me back, I found out that you simply need to pull the back support forward and THEN push back. The couch is firm and for this reason would not let anyone sleep on it for long. But we are mostly going to be using it as a couch, so firmness is good. The only true down-fall, as I see it, is the fact that there is VELCRO on the actual couch itself (to hold the arm-rests in place). If better designed, they would've put the rough velcro on the arm-rests, NOT the bed. All in all, good quality and nice appearance.
not well built

FALLING APART AT SEAMS
iszoid from Las Vegas, NV
AFTER ONLY SEVEN MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP, THIS SOFA IS TEARING APART AT THE SEAMS, WHERE IT HAS BEEN FACTORY STITCHED IN THE SEATING AREA. THIN PLASTIC LEATHERLIKE FABRIC BONDED TO FELT, NOT A STRONG ENOUGH FABRIC FOR A SOFA. ~ NO FACTORY WARRANTY AT ALL ~ CONTACTED FACTORY ~ ONLY 30 DAYS WARRANTY FROM RETAILER. THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK AND SHOULD NO LONGER BE MANUFACTURED. GOOD BYE TO MY HARD EARNED $300+. BEWARE!!!

great sofa bed

The color is darker than it appears in the picture. But that was okay with us. There was a hole in the fabric underneath the couch. I duck-taped it, nobody will ever see it anyway. The cushions are firm, which is why I wouldn't subject anyone to sleeping on it for more than a few nights...unless they like firm. We use it in our studio mainly for sitting. Looks great. The design itself could've used a little more brain-storming because, first of all, the arm rests are secured by velcro...which surprisingly has the rougher side of velcro on the actual bed instead of the arm pad. Secondly, I can't even figure out how to lower the bed...no handles or guides anywhere. Even so, I'm satisfied with the look and quality of it.
