Comfortable chair but really for someone under 5' 4"
Tracy from Brunswick, GA– Verified Buyer
We bought this chair after my husband's hip surgery because he needed something that he could back into when he sat down. The ergonomic design seemed like a good fit for him.

This item once assembled is extremely comfortable, fairly easy to assemble, takes a little more man power than anticipated, the ONLY thing I dislike about this chair is how the reclining mechanism works, not easy at all, but we make it work.. its worth it! this chair is too comfortable to complain about much
SORELY DISAPPOINTED !!

I bought 2 of these and yes, they were difficult to assemble but not insurmountable. My son fought with it for a while and when assembled I thought they looked great. I sat in it and found them comfortable as well. I thought I had hit the jackpot tip I tried raising and lowering the leg rests. IMPOSSIBLE !!!! I am not an old granny but far from my prime and I could not justify the struggle to close them down so I sold them the next day. TOOO BAD !! Otherwise they were really nice and at a good price.

Bought this chair for my "reading room". Like other reviewers have stated, it is a little difficult to put together and the reclining bar is hard to use. I hope it will loosen up with use. Color is as shown and material seems sturdy and not flimsy at all. I'm 5'2" and my arms don't quite reach the armrests, so I have to slouch back into the chair to get comfortable. This is fine with me because I bought the chair for getting cozy with a good book. Overall, I think the chair looks great and is perfect for the room.
Assembly requires an engineering degree :)

Very lovely piece of furniture once assembly was completed. Assembly is difficult. Requires two people. Very comfortable!

We bought two. We put them together 1 at a time. There is absolutely no way you can put them together without help, preferably two men. Very difficult to assemble. Bruised knuckles, swear words in abundance. However, once they are assembled they perform beautifully. Very comfortable, a bit difficult to raise the footrest, but for the price I just use my hands. I gave it three stars only because of the difficult assembly. They are lovely.
Reviews are right....hard to recline.
Joan from Washington– Verified Buyer
The reviews of this chair that said it was hard to recline were not kidding. It's quite stiff. Adjusting the foot rest is quite the process as well. I have to say it is a comfortable chair and very well made other than the reclining mechanisms. We put it in our motor home and it fits perfectly. At first I thought it was larger than I expected it to be and I didn't think it was going to work, but it works just fine. It's a nice sturdy chair. It has a good solid base and doesn't shift in the motorhome while we're traveling. The bone color is gorgeous. I have to give a shout out to shipping. It was here in TWO days! That is excellent service!
Perfectly Streamlined for Smaller Spaces

Love this chair! It fits into our smaller spaced living room, swivels, reclines, and is VERY comfy. The mechanism for putting the footrest up is a bit stiff but that is my only criticism, and I'm sure it will loosen up over time. Sturdily built and perfect for our needs!

Good recliner and pretty comfortable. Wish it did recline a little further and reclining it does take some getting used to. Takes some muscle getting it together as well.
