Sure, those might have been real leather but we coudl buy 10 of these for the price of one of those. Assembley was extremely easy and they (we bought 4) look great. Ian a little desappointed I guess you get what you pay for. I will only recommend it for a studient or very young customer who has time to ake more money to be able to buy a better quality item. remmade from Miami	1.0 6/26/2011 Beautiful but sucks! [...] Its very easy to put together however, the gas lift does not stay at maximum height or any height above the minimum height. Its a big shame because the chair is beautiful. If the gas lift functions as it's mearnt to be this would have bneen a great buy but because it won't then I will give this a 1 star. when and if I get a replacement part that functions as it should, I will raise the star to 5. Yes its either a one or 5 nothing in between because it does not serve its purpose. Was this helpful? Yes / No
