This post light is great! We got it to replace an old light on a 3” diameter pole. Size is just right. We had an electrician install it so can’t speak to ease of installation but it’s on a dimmer and works great. I tried to capture a picture of the seeded glass which is beautiful (IMO).. Uli. I added a before and after photo. I ordered two of these and have only replaced one. I don’t plan on replacing the other because I just don’t like the way it looks proportion wise. I thought 12” was going to be a large enough light for a pole light but it looks ridiculous. My previous light and pole was white and outdated so i painted the pole black and replaced it with this new one. The positives, the assembly was very easy. I loved the crackled glass look on the glass. I love the matte black finish. I liked that you only had to use one light bulb instead of multiple little bulbs that burn out unevenly.
