Very Nice for the Price But has Limitations
Mark from Missouri
Very nice stand for the quality and when compared to stands that are available locally. Quality construction and fit. The color and representation of it on the web pages is accurate. The only negatives are: 1) The finish is not very durable. It will chip easily and reveal the unstained wood product below, requiring a touch up pen or or stain. It doesn't take much to chip it. 2) The back openings are not sufficient for plugging in and routing wires and don't provide much circulation. It's almost impossible to get your hands inside and get to the plug-ins for large components like home theater receivers if you want to change things. The other drawback of the small openings is that components can get very hot. Especially large receivers or amplifiers. (And DirecTV boxes!) You can remedy this by cutting out the openings prior to assembly. Just two inches or so on the horizontal and vertical with a circular saw and guide would open things up and not compromise the integrity of the piece when assembled. I'd take mine apart and do it, but I foolishly used glue when assembling it so the remedy will be more difficult. Assembly instructions are pretty clear and it's definitely easier for two but one person can assemble it.
No Kidding NO TOOLS REQUIRED!!

I purchased this TV stand for my new 65" Samsung flat screen to replace my old 57" back projector screen. When buying furniture for my home, I am, like everyone else very particular how it would match the décor in my home. I usually do not buy this type of product online but since I was referred by other family members who have bought furniture from this site, I figured why not? I researched extensively for that "perfect" stand. I read more reviews than I should have; I wanted one not too dark in color, not too short but not too tall, wanted cabinets with shelves; more importantly, I wanted one to look nice but not too expensive. When I ran across this one which absolutely caught my eye due to the stunning design and not to mention the color; I starting reading the reviews. I was in disbelief as every review stated no tools required. I thought it was not possible? In looking at the picture, I thought this would take at least 3 hours to assemble? How can this beautiful cabinet not require any tools? Since it had everything I was looking for and reasonably priced, I placed the order. It stated 2-day shipping which was delivered exactly in 2 days EVEN with the horrible weather we've recently had. It was packed sealed tight with no damages; all pieces were intact. Upon arrival, I explained to my husband that he didn't need any tools to assemble, of course he gave me that look like I was out of my mind! When he took it out of the box, he looked at the instructions (no verbiage just pictures), he too was in awe saying I was correct and that he could put this together in no time. Sure enough, he assembled it within 30 minutes...no tools required! In my amazement, it looked simply beautiful in my living room, the height was within my viewing range; the glass cabinets add to make it very stylish; and it is incredibly very sturdy! I am very pleased with my purchase!
Awesome Entertainment Stand...you will not be disappointed!

We had read the various mixed reviews about this TV stand and have to say that the negative reviews are all unfounded. My husband has put together countless types of furniture and said this was by far the easiest to assemble, taking less than an hour. There are NO screws, nuts OR bolts but uses a peg assembly system. All the parts were in the package and the final product looks JUST like the picture. This is a very sturdy TV stand and placed our new 60" tv without concerns. The color of the wood is beautiful and the lines are very elegant in comparison to the great low price. You have to put it together, but that is why it didn't cost $600, which is definitely what it is worth!

I had been looking for quite some time to find a TV stand that would work in my new home. THIS was IT!!! I must add, it helps to have 2 people to assemble it BUT I did manage to do it myself!!! Just take a little juggling IT looks wonderful - now trying to find tables to match the color wood. VERY NICE piece of furniture!!!
Nice looking TV stand for a fair price

My husband and I put this stand together in 1.5 hours, it was moderately difficult because the instructions were a little confusing. I would definitely recommend that two people put this together. It's very sturdy and has a modern look. The shelves have slots that allow for air circulation, they are perfect for an Xbox or DVD player. Our sound bar sits perfectly on the top and it looks great in my living room.
Great TV stand!

I expected to have to install a lot of hardware to put this item together but to my surprise there is no hardware to install, all of the locking mechanisms are integrated into the pieces, I was able to put this together in 35-40 minutes tops. I love the rich wood color and it is perfect for my 58" T.V., it looks beautiful in my living room and with 6 shelves, is perfect for all of my components and storage. I would recommend this unit to anyone.
Couldnt be happier

We bought a 70 TV and wanted to mount it on the wall. I have in-wall speakers so I needed an entertainment center with a relatively low profile. The measurements of this thing were perfect -- it sits relatively low and is exactly as wide as my TV. The wood color is beautiful and matches the fireplace, cabinets, hardwood flooring, and other things in our house. Assembly was incredibly easy. After unpacking all the pieces from the box, I had the whole thing assembled in about 5 minutes. It basically just snaps together, but it's super sturdy. The shelving inside the closed cabinets area are slotted for ventilation, and the back panel isn't some super flimsy cardboard that takes 1,000 tiny nails to put in. It comes already on and is a very solid design. I have a relatively big home theater PC and receiver and I had to unscrew the doors to get them to slide into the cabinets, but they end up being an absolutely perfect fit. My home theater PC is also very deep. I had to notch out some of the back panel to accommodate fans and ports, but when I slide the HTPC all the way back, it gives me very easy access to all the cablesports from the rear of the unit. We had to butcher the back of our old cabinet to leave components hanging out the back because it wasn't deep enough and that left a big gap between it and the wall, exposing the nasty mess of cables that drove my wife crazy. I can snug the whole cabinet up against the back wall leaving about a 1 gap so you almost can't see anything. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a 70 TV.
Looks just like the picture!

This item was easy to put together like it says! I was able to put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. The only thing that I noticed was that the pieces that are supposed to just slide in don't really move without some force. I had to get a hammer/rubber mallet to help ease them into place. Other than that it was a breeze!! Looks beautiful and no scratches like some of the other reviews mentioned. I'm very pleased with this tv stand!

I am an older woman who knew I would have to put this together myself. But I wanted something sturdy and not so cumbersome that I could not assemble it alone. I will say this was a challenge for one person but it can be done. Very nice solid would top and if you take you time and lay everything out before hand and "READ THE DIRECTIONS" it can come together in about an hour. It hold everything I need and is not a piece that I have to decorate around.

Real wood is all I have to say, No camlocks. A rubber mallet is all you need. I did use Elmers WOOD GLUE, when I put it together. Figured , why not. never taking it apart anyway. Like this product so much, I will see what else they have in this brand and stick to them for the rest of my home.
