We bought this piece to serve as a "coffee table" and anchor piece for a small sitting area contiguous with our living room. It served as a perfect balancing object for the two chairs, providing a spot for us to place our magazines and also for extra seating when we have guests. We've also moved it to a family room as an ottoman for a couch. It's a very versatile piece. The wood legs and leather finish continue to look just like new. The piece looks very rich and substantial.
