Nice looking, but that's it.
Victor Victoria from Victoria BC Canada
The stools are very nice looking and assemble very easily. The stools have a sloping back and when you lean back you literally slide off the seat. I fixed this problem by having custom cushions made for them. The other problem I had is the height. I purchased them for use at my kitchen island and as for extra seating for my dining room table. The lowest level is great for the kitchen table, but when I sit in the stool at its highest level my weight causes it to sink about three inches, making it too low for the counter. I know that this is due to the fact that I am 225 pounds. Perhaps the manufacturer should include a weight restriction or some type of message addressing this problem. Since I live in Canada I decided to keep them and do my best to make them work. If returning would have not been such a hassle I would have gone that route. So bottom line: if you are purchasing for aesthetics and weigh less than 180 pounds you may very well love these stools. If you intend on using them on a daily basis and have a bit more meat on your bones you may want to try a different stool.
