Eh...Its okay First, the instructions are DEFINITELY lacking... only pictures, no words and if you didn't do your due diligence, you could really ruin a pricey purchase. Piece has a HORRIBLE chemical smell, that I can only hope goes away. I am guessing it is the adhesive for the MDF and laminate. It is solidstable, and has a nice color, but I myself think it is worth way less than what it costs, considering the materials used. |

Nice TV stand, terrible instructions After assembling this TV stand it looks very nice. The 71" of space can accommodate a very large TV. As of now I only have a 60" plasma, but its big enough that it could probably hold an 80" TV. I love the sliding doors as it makes for nice ease of use. The center shelf can hold a pretty large center speaker. I have 2 main issues with this product though. The first is that the back panel only one hole for the center shelf. That means if you have any equipment with cables needing to go out back to connect with other devices then you're out of luck. I actually just cut holes in the back as the back panel is fairly thin and that allowed me to put cables through the back. The other issue is the instruction manual, which is not really a manual but 5 pictures of various stages of the assembly process. If you are a novice at assembling furniture then you will be very upset and cursing up a storm. Luckily for me I have assembled furniture often such as from Ikea so where everything needed to go made sense to me. Also make sure you have some sort of power drill. I have a cheap Black and Decker hand held drill and it worked fine. Assembly isn't complicated, but it isn't easy either. If you can make it past this assembly process unscathed then you will enjoy this TV stand. |
