Love the twin over full bunk bed with trundle. Two of the kids always end up sleeping in the same bed anyway, so that is why I ordered the full bed option. I have 5 grandchildren ages 7 mo-8 years and this set allows me to have all but the youngest in the same room tucked in comfortably. It will also come in handy when the kids get taller (Dad is 6' 7", Mom 5' 8") or when we have adults visit. The staircase makes it safer for the little ones then a ladder and the drawers built into the stairs allow for much needed storage. Assembling the beds took more time than we bargained for, mainly because the instructions didn't incorporate the changes you need to make when you have the trundle until the rest of the bed had been assembled. We had to reconfigure parts of the bed we had already put together to do it right. If you get the trundle, read all of the directions for assembly before starting (our bad)! Regardless, we are very happy with the quality of the set for the price. I would recommend this set to others.

I love, love, LOVE IT!!! The price hurt my feelings, but well worth it... It took me about two hours to put together, all the screws were nicely labeled and organized...The directions were a bit confusing, and the actual parts weren't labeled, but you could eventually figure it out, and after following the directions, there are two extra wooden parts that are not listed in the directions left over... It has an an annoying creak when my daughter is tossing and turning at night, but overall, great investment... My only real issue was with the delivery. The people didn't just deliver our package, but left the entire skid in the front of our house, so we had to break through the card board, plastic wrap, and wood to get our packages free, and it left a huge mess that we had to clean up, and a skid to get rid of...But the product was great.
Beautiful and sturdy

We purchased this bunk bed based on other reviews and I'm so glad we did. It's a beautiful bed and our children love it. Based on another reviewer, we opted to not get the drawers under the bed. I'm really glad we decided against them because there is so much space under the bed that we are able to use for storage. We got a 6" mattress for the top bunk and an 8" mattress for the bottom bunk and they fit perfectly. I love the little place for books on the bottom bunk. As others have mentioned, the directions are not extremely clear but they are not horrible. Just make sure that with the full on bottom you use the full extension kit - the instructions are for the twin on bottom and there is another set of instructions for the full. My husband put it together mostly on his own. I helped only a little bit. It took him about 4 hours. I read a lot of the reviews on this bunk bed before I purchased it and so there were no surprises for us.

This bunk bed is amazing I love how sturdy it is and my kids too love it. I love the steps as oppose to the traditional ladder. It was a great buy. It was also delivered very quickly. The reason for the 4 stars is the actual delivery I live in an apartment building and the delivery guys were very rude to my elder uncle who was the one home when this bunk bed arrived. They didn't deliver it upstairs to my 3rd floor apartment. Said I didn't pay for delivery. Which wasn't the case. The website states I "qualified" for "free delivery" had I known that meant not bringing it upstairs I would've gladly paid the extra fee. The delivery men were extremely rude to my uncle. Thus the 4 star rating. Other than the delivery people this bunk bed is great! Takes time setting up tho but once it's up and ready it's really nice and sturdy.

I have daughters that are 3 and 6, and I love these bunk beds for them. The steps are easy for my youngest daughter to climb to access the top bunk. The bunk beds plus trundle were delivered in less than 7 days. The bunk beds are very sturdy, and it was packaged very good because it had no scratches or scuff in the wood. The bunk beds were easy to assemble. My husband and I put it together in about 4 hours. Love love the twin over full bunk bed with the trundle. I think the drawers on the steps are very spacious.
true to the description of the product and good value and quality

a little tricky to put together for one person but i managed by modifying the installation instructions. I assembled three sides and then slipped the backing on followed by the top. The finish is very nice without sharp or cutting edges. It fits nicely into the space and holds a decent number of books, clearing my desktop for computer use. Good value for the money It was nice that the exact bookcase size that fit my space was available, as this would be impossible with the limited in store furniture available locally.
everything you need

So happy with this bunkbed! My 4 year old has the top and my 2 year old gets the bottom. definitely more space than she needs, but they like to nap together occasionally and it will be great as they get older. The stairs feel very safe and the drawers are just right for all their clothes (we bought the extra set for under the full). easy to set up, my husband did it himself, although he is quite handy.
nice bunk beds!

Our girls, 4 and 6, love their new bunk beds. We like them bc the stairs are so much safer for middle-of-the-night trips to the bathroom, etc. when they are half asleep. They were fairly straight forward for my husband to assemble. He said the parts could have been of better quality, but for the price and our purposes, they are fine. Once assembled, seems sturdy. Drawers are nice, too. We got the dark finish and it is very pretty. No complaints.
Best purchased we made in a long time!

We decided to have our 3 and 4 year old sons share a room. Our oldest wanted a bunk so bad, but I was a little concerned. We got this bunk because it had a staircase rather than a ladder and it's solid wood. The delivery was prompt, the bed was fairly easy to assemble. We purchased a 7 3/4 inche foam mattress for the top, which allowed for a safe railing. The bootom bunk has a bookshelf, which we use to keep our books for our nightly routine. We have the full bed at the bottom so I can lay down with both of my boys, read stories, then my oldest will climb in his bunk. The boys have been sleeping better than ever and have added 45 minutes to an hour to their morning sleep! LOVE this bed.
best in class

I love the look and construction of this bunk set. (Needs two people to assemble.) The drawers under the stairs is such a better design than a ladder. I did not get the under-bed drawers because they do not attach and because they are shallow to the point where a lot of under-bed space is not used. Those large plastic storage bins that will slide under the bed will provide much more storage.
