I previously had a grinder that I used constantly so I had something to compare this one to. I wish I had bought this one years ago. It's very fast doesn't jam up and clean up is a breeze. My only concern is that the plastic parts seem a little on the flimsy side. In the short time I've used it the grinder has performed well but, I can't help wonder how long that will last. I had my last one 14 years. I don't it will be that long for this one.

I highly recommend for every one to have this machine in their homes and grind their own meat. Who knows what they put in to their ground meat at the supermarkets, with all those additives for preservation.

We purchased to grind beef (no pink slime here!). We were also pleased to discover that 2.77# rump roast made nine good sized patties, extremely lean, and without the excessive blood run-off found in even high priced ground from stores. We will also be using with optional attachment, to juice tomatoes for canning from the garden... Assembly/disassembly and clean up were both quick and easy.

It works as advertised. I ground up fifteen lbs of venison in 5 minutes.

Every year we do our own deer butchering and sausage making, and we've always used a small hand grinder. This year I saved up the cash to buy an electric grinder and wow what a difference! This product sped up the process by hours! We had one more deer than usual this year so we ended up with three 25lb batches of sausage and we did it in less time than we were able to do before when we did only two 25lbs batches. I am so happy with this purchase!
