I needed a support system for a ceiling fan to work on a suspended drop ceiling in my office. This product consists of a junction box, 2 chains, hooks, turnbuckle, 2 metal tube crossbars & 3 plastic clips. It is certainly sturdy enough to hold any standard ceiling fan. It was very easy and intuitive to install, although I did have to trim the plastic clips to make the junction box sit flush with the ceiling tile. Also, the 2nd crossbar is mostly superfulous. It is barely long enough to span the side of the ceiling tile to the center, and even still would not assist structurally in any way I can see since it doesn't go the full length of the tile.Seeing the design of the setup, I will save the money [...] and just make my own system next time at considerable savings.

Service Review

The ordering process was very easy, and customer service from CSN was good. The issue was that the product shipped after it was promised, from a location on the other side of the country (I was told it was shipping from PA by customer service, but turned out to be coming from CA - which made the ground shipping take longer). Then, we received a package (a few days after the expected delivery date) that was basically strips of cardboard *heavily* taped together around the product box (looked like a kid shipped it!). Thankfully the contents of the package were all fine - but seeing how it was almost all metal, not much could go wrong.

This is the easiest way to hang a ceiling fan in room which has a suspended ceiling. All fears of having the ceiling fan dropping from suspended ceiling are eliminated when bracket is installed according to instructions.
