michael from saranac lake, NY	5.0 3/5/2012 excellent product, excellent service i'd had a previous west bend cooker like this one, only a bit smaller, for almost 30 years. this new unit is a bit larger, but functions the same way. i like the fact that i don't have to worry about a crockery pot breaking, and that one can start cooking on the stovetop, if necessary or preferred, then move the pot to the cooking base for a longer slow-cooking. with a cooker like this, i can't think why anyone would buy a traditional "crock pot". i'm glad west bend still makes a product like this.
