I was looking for a fair priced incline bench that would fold for storage after I was doing my sit-ups with a step stool (for incline) while placing my feet underneath my mother's dresser and started to notice that it was doing more harm to me and to the dresser. I searched and came upon this little bench and I must say that it is great. It took a little time to get use to it as I have never used a bench for ab workouts, but the short time that I have been using it. I have noticed that the workouts that I use to do on the floor and on the step stool are much safer and really target my abs with the bench as it gives me greater mobility i.e. leg raises, scissors, I can go down further than I could if I were doing them on the floor and its prolonging the life of my mother's furniture. I've only had the bench for about two weeks and I must say that I am seeing results and it doesn't make much noise at least any squeaks from the bench, just from the leg pads which is good 'cause I live in a second floor apartment. However, I'll have to wait and see in a few months if it still hold and if it s still quite. The set up was easy, although, the hardest part was trying to find the right screws as the package that it came in wasn't able to hold all the screws and bolts in place. That was probably what took me the longest, but I put it together myself no problem. The only thing that I had an issue with was getting used to putting my legs in the leg rest as my calves were not use to it. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but with time, I got use to it. I'm now able to do all my ab exercises that I use to do on the floor on the bench. I just have to lay the opposite way when doing leg raises and scissors in order to have a greater range of mobility. I don't really use it for anything else other than for abs for the time being, but perhaps later on I might incorporate weights. The bench folds, but it is not flat as it has somewhat of a curve and I will doubt that it would fit under a bed. However, I have folded and placed upright on the wall to conserve space. I actually bought it along with a ½ inch thick floor mat to put underneath the bench. So, all is well at least the two plus weeks that I've had the bench so far, I'll really have to see if it still the same in a few months as I tend to work out quite hard and frequently. If it holds, I'll probably buy another one just in case."..."  Read more

I had problems with an earlier bench I bought that collapsed on me while I was bench pressing. Fearing this may happen again, I was looking for a replacement that would never suffer this plight. This bench is extremely solid and very, very sturdy. It is well constructed with no points of weakness in its configuration. It has three main metal parts, two of which are the base. There is no chance of structural failure. The only negative feature is the width of the bench. The bench could be a bit wider; it is not quite wide enough to fully support your back because there is so much padding that when bench pressing, the weights feel as they may tilt from side to side; again this was not a strutural problem but a pad to bench width ratio issue. Again, if you need a rock solid bench...this is for you. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy and safe bench."..."  Read more

I always spend weeks researching a product on line before I buy. This bench is the one I selected out of everything on the market today. Yes there are better benches out there but for the money spent I think this is probably one of the best values. Once I recieved it and started using it I'd say I'm extremely happy with my decision. Best feature is it is very light but sturdy. I move this bench into my smith machine one day and then out of the way for other exercises the next day. It gets moved a lot and it's not cumbersum. The only thing for me is it could be an inch or two taller but that's not a big deal - great bench for the buck."..."  Read more

This bench is accompanied by my free weights and it is near perfect! The adjustable angle from decline up to 90 degrees is great for my shoulder exercises and lowering the angles bit more creates availability for many other exercises such as incline presses and reverse flyes. The seated part of the bench also adjusts upwards so you will not slip off the bench during incline presses and allows for better decline seating and with the leg attachment you'll stay put and won't move anywhere. Setup was a breeze! took 15 minutes or even less. The only thing that this bench lacks is a design to stop the bench from having a gap in the bottom where the seat angles up and down on a 0 degree angle being a flat bench Overall i would defiantly recommend this bench to anyone looking for a favorable and sturdy bench"..."  Read more
