I purchased this rower over the Concept II and couldn't be happier. The rower is much quieter and looks fantastic when not in use. Storage is a breeze and operation is very smooth. Assembly is very easy and only requires you to attach a few of the pieces together with screws, fill the tank, add a chlorine tablet and you are done. Chlorine tablets will need to be added to the water every 6 months or so and are complimentary from WaterRower for life. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to add a rower to their home gym. Beautifully built, solid, quiet, smooth operation, easy storage. Seat can be a little uncomfortable after long periods. Wish the handle was round instead of rectangular. Priced higher than Concept II rowers.

I bought this rower because I had completely worn out my previous rower. I like this machine but, is a little tricky getting the correct quantity of water in the cylinder. That said, it is a good workout and no stress on joints. Pros: Good workout; easily stored Cons: Tricky getting water quantity correct

Oh yeah, I have wanted one of these for almost 20 years. The smoothest, most quiet rower on the market. Nice, solid wood, blends well with the furniture. It takes less space to store upright than a chair. No springs, shock absorbers, clanking of metal arms. The best!
