Everything about this purchase was spot on. [...] once assembled, the pump worked as described. Plenty of pressure and flow. Hoses rolled up nicely! Would like to see a foot valve (aka check valve) for the suction hose that way you can prime the pump and just leave it until you're ready to roll. I looked at a bunch of different units and this one was priced right and performs great! The hose nozzle is nothing fancy but it does its job from heavy fog to solid stream. If you need to pump water higher than what is listed in the specs I would choose a two stage pump, otherwise, this fire pump easily covers my 2 story home. The cart kit is the way to go because you can roll the unit wherever you want it! Did I mention that it started on the 1st pull!! You won't be disappointed!"..."  Read more

I use the pump to transfer water from a creek to a pond during the drought times. It has been a reliable workhorse for its weight and construction. I'v head one for five years. I had to replace it because I it suffered some ice damage over the winter. I had miscalculated the weather and didn't drain it before a surprise (to me) freeze. The pump still worked despite the damage and resulting leak. I could still be using it I guess, but I liked it better when everything was tight. The pump was so great, easy to work with and affordable, I just replaced it. Its a really good value."..."  Read more

I am impressed with the quality of this little pump. It is well made with a sturdy base and carrying handle. These little two-stroke pumps can be a bit loud but I find that mine has a good volume even a lower rpm where the exhaust noise is much lower. I appreciate that the pump comes with two hose ends. The parallel threads on the inlet and outlet will not accept standard npt fittings."..."  Read more
