Home centers sell nice looking condensate pumps but most don't last long for me. The pump takes up a little more space and it is made with top of the line componets. If you notice a water pump, you have a flood, so I am happy to say that this pump draws no attention to itself at all. We use it to pump condensate from our furnace into a drainage pipe, and it's worked silently, successfully since we got it.
