This purchase is replacing a unit I have used for years. My original pump was used to drain my pool cover every spring. I installed a loop lock solid cover for the pool and continued using it to lower the snow and rain water levels, keeping the pool from overflowing. I also used it to drain and clean my water fountain as well as lending to neighbors for like purposes. This is a top notch pump made to last and hold up to some abuse.
