We purchased this to make waffles on Christmas morning. Wasn't sure if I was going to get it in time. But it arrived lightning fast and in good condition. It takes a bit of work to make the batter... but well worth the effort. My kids ask to make them on every special occasion and weekends.

I was looking for a professional waffle iron that would make thick, crispy, perfect waffles, and this one does it every time. I wish it were a bit smaller, but what did I expect from a professional one?

the features on this product are great! There isn't any guess work when the iron is ready for use, or when the waffles are finished making.

It's very true that the first couple of waffles should be thrown out, after that it gets better. The recipes in the book are very time-consuming and involved and produce okay waffles. A waffle mix actually made a better product with a crispier surface.

We've only used our waffle maker a few times so far but we've loved the waffles we've made every time. My only complaint would be how big it is, so it makes it difficult to store.
