All n All not a bad cage however...
April J from W.v.
I just bought this cage for my pet Rat. It really wasn't all that hard setting up the cage itself, however what I didn't like doing was adding the levels to it. That seemed to be the hardest part for me, because the levels of the cage really aren't too stable.. and they keept coming down if I bumped them. And also the sides of the cage, AFTER you hook the hooks to the side of the cage to hold it together, you HAVE to get some pliers and pinch the hook part to make the hooks are tight so it won't slip out of the side of the cage. Also do the same thing with the ramps that go to the levels so the ramps stay on and hooked better. As I said, the cage really isn't a super stable cage.. the wire that the cage is made from bends kinda easy, and the ramps/levels are just wire mesh so I would cover those with fabric or some cardboard then put a strip of fabric over it and get those metal clips that an office supply store would have & clip the fabric/cardboard in place. But I have to say, for the price it's really not a bad cage at all. My Rat "his name is Black Sabbath..after the Rock band :-)", he likes it a lot more than what I had him in before this cage and that was a 10 gal tank (I just bought him not to long ago and only had a 10 gal tank at the time, hints why I bought this cage) I wouldn't say it's a good cage for a baby Rat/Hamster tho because there are places where the cage does not match up with the other sides, that babies could get out of. So far it's pretty chew proof so that's really good news. And, I adore the colors, white with that dark purple is very pretty. I sit some heavy books on the top because since Rats are heavy animals and enjoy climbing the sides, I wasn't sure if he would tip it over if he climbed to the top. But, if you have a hamster that's not nearly as heavy, I wouldn't think you would need something atop it. All in All .. I'm pretty happy with this cage. :-)
Tall but not wide

I really do like this cadge over all. I just wished it would have been a little wider to give space for my animal. I wouldn't use it for rat. I like all the levels in it they can be difficult to keep on so I used zip ties but that was an easy fix.

We have one of our Syrian (Teddy Bear) hamsters in this cage. There were a few places that we reinforced with zip ties because the bars seemed too far spaced but overall this is a nice cage.
Pretty Good Cage for the Money

When you receive this cage just get your pliers out and make sure you tighten all the hinges right form the start and you should not have any problems if you do. The only thing that did not work was

bought this cage for my two full grown male rats. the wire framing is detached in two places, doesn't fit well together, flimsy, sinks into itself, and the pan is a bit too shallow. got it to stay together by using pliers to squeeze ALL the hooks shut(levels and ladders included) and now it is just fine. will use zip ties and drill a couple holes in the pan to pull the cage out to it's full volume.

This is a nice looking cage. However, it does seem to be a little bit flimsy at the bottom. It isnt quite as well-made as I had hoped, but it will work.
Good price for average cage.

The hamster cage is what I was expecting and it came out fine. It was a good price for a pretty average cage.
Great Syrians hamster cage

These cages have been great for our Syrian hamsters. I puchaced two so they have their own. There is plenty of room for them to run and room to add toys
Needed A Chew Less/Free Cage !

The cage is good however I wish it was a little sturdier. There were several spots that needed duck tape for sharp edges to prevent injury to the gerbils. The other suggestion I would like to make is to make the bottom pan deeper to decrease the amount of bedding that comes out.

Ordered two so I could hook them together and make a hole between the two for a bigger cage. Put together one, and the bottom pan is 1.25" too big. Opened the other, and found that pan to be too big. Each joint needs reinforcement with twist or zip ties. The space at each joint is big enough for my 10-week old baby rats to squeeze through.
