This mount comes with tons of different hardware to use with the speaker and the wall, with clear instructions on how to use everything. It was a straightforward setup; the only tools I had to provide myself were a drill and a screw driver for the wall mounting - Allen wrenches are included for the hex bolts. There is even a drill bit included for certain types of setup. Once you have them on the wall you can angle the speaker however you want. The only drawback is that if your speakers are not wired through the wall, there is no real way to hide the wires, which isn't really that big a deal to me - I used clear-insulated copper wire that is actually kinda pretty. And wall mounting looks way better than speaker stands, IMHO. After having these installed for a few weeks, I notice my speakers but hardly give a thought to the mounts. I'd recommend this as a cheap alternative to stands or having someone do an installation for you. 4 out of 5 stars because I'm not sure what would make these *perfect*, but they are definitely a good buy."..." Read more

What a great product! Worked perfectly for my 25 lb center channel mounted above my TV. One major note, if mounted as instructed, it will leave a 9 inch air gap in between the wall and the back of your speaker. I did adjust it so that the speaker was more on top of the bracket instead of in front of it. This put my speaker more flush to the wall and gave me the perfect angle downward. The way I mounted it does put the mounting hardware in view under the speaker. For me, it worked perfectly. Great construction. Also note that no screws for mounting brackets to the wall or speaker itself were included. Only the U bolts and nutswashers for them are included. Still worth the price!"..." Read more

Atlantic Satellite Speaker Mounting Brackets (pair), Titanium Atlantic

These are plastic (PVC/ABS) brackets, with a raw Titanium color which is dark grey, not the aluminum/silver colored brackets in the picture. The plastic is a heavy-duty sort that should be sufficient to hold a 1-2 pound satellite speaker for surround sound. The base plate has four holes and is designed to be screwed directly to either a ceiling joist or to a wall stud. These will work well, provided they're not over-tightened. Over tightening will crack them. Then you screw a bracket to the back of your speaker. A ball and socket arrangement enable a swivel of nearly 90 degrees in each direction (X & Y Axes) for maximum flexibility. I have used a pair of these for my right and left channel speakers for years, and just bought another pair for my rear channel speakers while re-doing my home theater. My only complaint about them is that they are made of plastic. They'd be worth twice as much if they were actually made from cast aluminum, but with the really low weight of today's satellite speakers, they should suffice for any speaker measuring 8" x 6" x 6" and <5 lbs."..." Read more

OmniMount Wall Speaker Mounting Kit - 20 lb. max weight OmniMount

The mount held my Triad Speakers tightly against the wall with no movement. I read other reviews of this mount saying that it slips. I didn't experience any slippage at all. The key is really tightening the allen screw, which isn't easy to do in the tight space between the speaker and the wall. I recommend not using the included, standard "L" shape wrench. Instead, use an allen wrench set that you typically find in bike shops. These require a bit less space than the standard ones. All in all, a good mount."..." Read more
