Wall Maps

I had looked at taking the plunge and buying one of these for a number of years. Now that it's hanging on my wall, I couldn't be happier. My whole family stops to look at it and ask questions about geography, time zones and so forth. It seems very solidly built and I expect it to last decades. The black goatskin vinyl boarder seems high quality, so for most folks it is probably not necessary to upgrade to wood or leather. One caution, the instructions suggest that mounting screws will work in drywall. I am a homeschooling mother, and find this map to be great for use at home. Normally maps may be too large and take up way too much space. This map is the perfect size for home use. Our map arrived and is already enhancing our schoolwork. I chose the 31" x 46" laminated National Geographic Maps World Decorator Map which is now displayed in our hall. We hung it lower than typical so even my youngest child could walk up and view it easily (the rest of us can sit on the floor.) It is very detailed. We will enjoy this for years.
