This Calphalon No Peek waffle maker is absolutely one of the best small kitchen appliances that we have ever bought. It makes perfect and delicious waffles every time and it is very easy to use and to clean. The waffle maker is also very nice looking with the stainless steel and chrome parts and it blends well with the other stainless appliances. Compared to other waffle makers that I considered buying, this one really makes some of the others look cheaply built and flimsy. We like the feature that allows us to choose between light, medium, and dark waffles. We like dark waffles best and they come out exactly right every time. And nothing ever sticks to the plates. I paid a few dollars more than some of the cheaper waffle makers, but the small difference is nothing when you consider the appearance and quality of the appliance. Just let the plates heat up, pour on the batter, and listen for the chime that lets you know when the waffles are done."..." Read more

I'm still experimenting with recipes but i have had absolutely no problem with using the waffle maker. This is a no brainer appliance just read the guide for first time use. It is well constructed. Cooks evenly and fast. A audible beep sounds when waffle is ready. We use a malted belgian waffle mix, this makes a good waffle great. We have had this for about a year and with no problems. I feel the Waring Belgian Waffle Maker is the best bang for your buck.
