This blender does SO MUCH. Since we've got it, we've been making smoothies every morning. This blender actually heats up its contents for easy soups. You could probably blend elk bones into a fine powder, (if thats your thing). We choose to make almond butter instead. It comes with a really large binder with tips and a recipe book, and we've just been so impressed since we opened the box. GREAT PRODUCT! We've been using it a lot and I expect it to last for quite awhile.

Received this as b'day gift from family. Blends wonderful and in my opinion, it is not as loud as I was expecting. Relatively quiet motor for the job it does. Time is certainly saved. I would have preferred a glass container but this one seems to be doing the job just fine.

Since being on the raw diet and having to make lots of green smoothies to boot, it was essential I get a better blender...the Vita-mix has delivered in every way possible! This is a high powered blender that will amaze anyone who is not familiar with what it can do! It is worth every penny spent and I would recommend it to anyone in need of a great blender!

Service from CSN stores was excellent from the time I placed my order to the time I got my blender! They even shipped it a LOT sooner than they originally said they could. I could not be more pleased and will use them for future purchases without hesitation!

The blender does the job. It was a little more plasticy than I had thought it would be, but still functional. The motor seems to work very hard when making green smoothies on high - very loud and smells sometimes like a burning motor within 30 seconds of turbo speed. Maybe it will last - I use it daily and have had no problems. I expected more quality and weight for that price. I might have tried a cheaper model first if I had been able to try it first. Time will tell.
