South Shore Vintage 5 Drawer Chest
A rather cumbrous thing. Probably shouldn't be attempted alone.

Being as I live alone I had to move and assemble this in like manner. Being as I was raised with a healthy supply of Legos I generally enjoy furniture assembly, I believe I have a good head for it, and I possess about a dozen and a half other pieces of furniture 'round the household which I have also assembled. I've prefaced my review thusly so that nobody should think me some sort of furniture wimp assembly when I say that this was a five or six hour ordeal to assemble. Granted, some of that had to do with trying to assemble the main frame of it while balancing things without a second set of hands. Nevertheless some of the (massive amount of) hardware fell loose out of the box as I opened it, poor identification of the pieces (how hard is it to put a letter sticker on something or a "this side up") was a bit frustrating, and the twenty chintzy plastic runners really took an inordinate amount of time and hand pain to cram into place. Also lugging the main frame of it (or whatever, the part that's not the drawers) into the next room, I gashed open my foot and, much more disturbingly, came dangerously near to crushing my cat in a she-would-have-died sort of a way. So you'll definitely want a buddy for this one, even if you're someone who's usually fine disregarding such warnings.

Chest looks nice and looks like the picture however internal particle board materials especially for the draws are cheap. But who will know or care if it's used for a guest bedroom which this is perfect for. Pieces all fit together and holes lined up so anyone who says they don't probably made assembly errors. For a prior commenter who complained about draws feeling tight, mine are perfect. The roller sliders the draws have to fit into have to banged in flush with the wood so if they are not you'll have problems. Wayfair wasn't showing the matching side table so I had to find that elsewhere but overall I'm satisfied.
Worth the effort

On a whim, I tried the risky thing of buying furniture over the internet. Advantage was, I found exactly the right piece at the right price! This chest looks great once fully assembled. In cherry, it's a bit darker than pictured, which was a great match to the rest of my furniture. There's no way to sugar coat this...it did take me 3 hours to put it together. Honestly, that's about what I expected. A lot of it was "tool less", and to be sure, this is not the best construction (plastic pegs, etc.) quality, but it is quite solid once you tighten and align everything. I had some parts left over, and it took me a while to find the steps I missed. I decided not to take it apart again to redo it.PROTIP: The drawer bottoms are printed cardboard. They warp like crazy if the room is too humid! Makes assembly all the more difficult, so turn on the air or something to prevent them from curling up, which makes them difficult to put in the slots.Overall, I'm quite satisfied!
Pretty, but slightly flawed

Purchased this dresser for our daughter's bedroom. My husband is handy and put it together over the course of a few hours. I don't think I could have done it myself. There are a LOT of parts. Once assembled, it is quite pretty. Can't give it 5 stars simply because there were some minor dents and impressions in the surface, but not enough to warrant returning.

the final product was very nice and my daughter was happy with the look of the dresser It did take a little effort to build and I would suggest using glue when doing the construction although not suggested by manufacterer

Love this product. It's flexible but sturdy enough to keep everything in place. I order to boxes but I'm getting ready to order two more.
