great product, [...]

This saute pan is quite heavy duty - emphasis on the heavy! Heat is very well distributed. The only down side I have noticed is that brown discoloring/staining has occurred on the cooking surface. I have read online that special purpose stainless steel cleaner may help, but I haven't tried it yet.

makes cooking so much more fun

This pan lived up to its professional Viking name. The heavy base ensures that food does not stick and retains heat well. However I would recommend that you should check out the height of the pan. I would have liked the sides to be a little higher, even if I had to compromise on the diameter a little. Sturdy enough for everyday use. All in all a great buy.
