I don't know why the red knife is about half the price of the black one, but it's such an unbeatable bargain I bought 24 to give away to family and friends. Is this the ultimate perfect knife? No. But for the price it's all I expect and a whole lot more. Buy it! The picture shows the "Victorinox" and "Switzerland" on the blade; it doesn't come that way.
