Black softens starting from the edge of the clock face and blends into silver as it goes down the bursts. The upper left side and top of picture are a more accurate description. Bursts have more silver than depicted. This is a perfect retro clock. Great for celestial and many decors and collectors. The only con I have is the shipping time. Clock is made already. I dont see why it takes Verichron so long to ship. It is worth the wait, just need to order far in advance if needed for a gift unless they change this. Highly Recommend the clock! Was this helpful? The face of the clock is a bit busy and since it has silver/black hands on a silver/black face they blend together a bit. Other than that, it is definitely unique and I would recommend.
