Some Assembly Required
FH from Albuquerque NM
The assembly-instructional-diagram was incomplete in one step and actually incorrect in another. Design modification was also needed to securely hold the dividers in place with additional screws on each end. Understanding the concept rather than simply following obtuse diagrammatic steps was key to successful assembly. The sales description indicated it was made of wood, but all of the boards are actually made of inexpensive particle board. The weak link in the cabinet construction is the thin plastic end-brackets on which the upper and lower compartments pivot. The manufacturer should have used metal brackets, even if it meant adding a few dollars to the price. The finished product looks very nice and it will provide storage for up to about 24 pairs of small- to-medium size shoes. It should work well under gentle use, however if a shoe gets jammed between one of the dividers and the frame and if a frustratingly large force is then applied to move the door open, the plastic bracket will break (as it did for my wife with her previous cabinet of similar design). If you have both the skill and patience to put it together, it represents a reasonable storage value if its limits are understood and not exceeded. My wife has promised to be very gentle with the new cabinet, so hopefully it will provide many years of shoe storage.

Love the product with the exception of the instructions. I am very familiar with furniture insturctions as we sent our son to college with Ikea, but these insturctions are failrly confussing. I would also recommend that you do not add the third section break in the drawers unless you are only using the cabinet for sandles. Other than the spacing and the instructions I feel for the dollar it was a good value.
VHZ storage Double Shoe Cabinet
Meredith from West Bridgewater, MA – Verified Buyer
I needed a compact storage cabinet for my shoes and this was just the right size. I was determined to put it together myself and did! The directions were straight forward and the pieces were well marked. The cabinet arrived on time and it was simple to order on-line. I would certainly use this company again.
Great for the price

We are very pleased with this shoe cabinet. It holds several pairs. My husband wears size 10 1/2 and they fit fine on the bottom row. Easy to put together.
Double shoe cabinet

I got this cabinet in white to fit the beach theme in my house. It holds quite a few pair of shoes so I can keep the floor clean. Does the job for me.
Very functional. Well built.

It's a very functional piece of furniture. I would warn that the slots aren't really built for a man's size 12 shoes, but it does the job.
Does just what it says
BLK from CT
It holds a lot of my shoes. Putting it together wasn't too bad, though I had to loosen previously tightened screws in order to get the drawers to slide in. Its also a little unsteady if I pull the top drawer open too fast- the whole thing threatens to tip over. Even so, it is exactly what I was looking for to help me be less cluttered!
Good shoe storage

This shoe cabinet was a little time consuming to put together but seems like it is going to work out fine.
Okay shoe rack

Takes some time to assemble. Not real sturdy, but serves the purpose. I wouldn't purchase this again and would look for something more sturdy.

This is made out of pressed wood/MDF. It is also too small. I bought it for my husband's shoes and they don't fit. He wears a size 12 and they are too big for the cabinet.
