The pre-drilled holes were not drilled deeply enough and the wood holding the dvd's and cd's is bowing under the light weight. The outside wood is a thicker better quality. Now, it's all in one place and there,s no reason not to be able to keep things tidy. It was very easy to put together and sturdy enough to handle all my media without the shelves sagging too much. I don't believe the shelving is near as bad as Mr West finds it.
